Hydrology.

Project description.

The hydrology team of the Research Group for Water, Energy and the Environment (WE2) seeks to study how precipitation is transformed into runoff, focusing on floods. The current main activities can be grouped into: a) simulation through rainfall-runoff models; b) statistical hydrology to improve estimates of flood frequency curves; c) bivariate flood frequency analysis for dam safety and design; and d) temporal trends in flood series.

People involved in the hydrology team are:

Luis Mediero – Senior Lecturer
Luis Garrote – Professor
David Santillán – Assistant Lecturer
Ana I. Requena – Researcher
A. Coch – Researcher
